Fan Clubs
Nithsdale Tartan Army Sanquhar
N.T.A.S are based in the Burgh of Sanquhar in the South West of Scotland. The clubs founder members, the two Moore boys “Bobby” and “Waddy” , started the club about 25 years ago and named the club after the local football team Nithsdale Amateurs ( Now Nithsdale Wanderers). Nithsdale Amateurs who had a few footsoldiers playing for them at the time.
N.T.A.S have been on many away journeys with the first being to Wembley in 1987.
The club has about 50 footsoldiers with the likes of committee members: “Parky, Mintie, Lub, Big Cook, Wee Cook ,Ramsay, Wee Blaw, Ross, Mitch and Wee Towzer the club Mascot” who run various charity events throughout the year to raise money for local charity’s and organisation’s.
N.T.A.S always make sure they make at least one away trip every year, and what a trip it always is, win lose or draw we’ll be coming doon the road !!!

BASTA had their tenth year anniversary held in Aviemore June 2011 which was attended by over 300 members and friends.
